“When you listen to yourself, everything comes naturally. It comes from inside, like a kind of will to do something. Try to be sensitive. That is yoga.”

~ Petri Räisänen

Finding inner balance

The art of living consists in setting simple but achievable goals. Managing tensions, developing relationships, refocusing, staying open to life, leaving room for joy every day… In our classes we strive to inculcate these values and create a safe environment in which you can find your path to inner balance.

If you’re unsure which style of yoga is right for you, depending on your goals, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Hatha Foundations (all levels) 6:00 - 7:15 PM .
.
Hatha is for every “body”. The poses in this class are accessible for all bodies. Moving at your own pace will be encouraged.  Key foundational postures will be taught each week with greater focus on alignment, centred breath and muscles used. Being present, we aim to put the pose into the body, not put the body into poses it is not designed for.  This class is gentle and safe. Suitable for all ages and all-levels of practice, for those who want to deepen their understanding of major asanas, or is perfect for absolute beginners who want to learn about key theories of Hatha yoga. .
.
Flow and Restore (all levels) 7:30 - 8:30 PM

A great way to end your day!  This class is the perfect blend of yin and yang, movement and stillness, effort and release. We slowly and tenderly coax the body into movement with greater focus on sensory awareness and experimentation. This class is not overly dynamic, it is a sensuous balanced blend of play and respite. We are encouraged to move in a sinewy and mindful way and through primordial shapes for half of the practice, then switch to longer-held restorative postures to loosen the body and encourage rest.  Activating the sympathetic and then parasympathetic nervous system will round out this class to feel like you worked the whole body. Suitable for people who don’t have too much time to exercise, for people who don’t have a regular practice or for people who don’t work well within the confines of militant styles of yoga.
